Meet Peter, Our Villa Manager
Originally from Poland, Peter has called Bali home for over six years. He speaks fluent Bahasa Indonesia, knows the best local warungs by heart, and has probably tried every dish you haven’t yet heard of. He’ll tell you which sambal is worth sweating for - and which ones are just there to impress tourists.
When he’s not managing the day-to-day magic at MCC, you’ll find him diving Bali’s coral reefs, chasing sunrise at Mount Batur, or exploring the lesser-known corners of the island by motorbike. His two very spoiled cats usually stay home, but they have their own stories too - just ask him.
Peter is part manager, part host, part storyteller. He’s the reason so many guests return with more than just memories. Understated, calm, and always tuned in, he makes every stay feel easy - like things are running on instinct, not effort.
Ask him about food, and you’ll get more than a list. You’ll get context. Who cooks where, what to order, when to go. From the slow-cooked babi guling down the road to the tasting menus at Bali’s best kitchens - he’ll steer you right every time.
Ask him about life here, and the stories come naturally. Early-morning temple ceremonies. Unplanned detours that turned into lifelong friendships. The rhythm of island life when no one’s watching.
Peter is the kind of host who knows both Europe and Indonesia well enough to translate not just the language, but the feeling. He can explain the differences that matter—and the ones that just make you smile. He moves easily between cultures, conversations, and the quiet kind of hospitality that makes people feel at home.
You’ll usually find him where good conversation begins: somewhere between the ocean breeze and a strong cup of coffee. Always with a cat nearby, and always ready to share a story.
